Youth Patrol
 

Introduction
This program introduces Youth Patrollers to basic first aid and life saving strategies, providing knowledge for emergency situations that he/she may encounter at home, at school or while playing with friends. Through hands-on and other fun ways to learn, Youth Patrollers will gain cognitive knowledge of National Ski Patrol (NSP) and Wintergreen Ski Patrol (WSP).

Taking Pulses on A-Side

Eligibility To be accepted in the program, all applicants must be between the ages of 11 and 15. In addition, applicants should be comfortable skiing black-diamond terrain, such as that available on the Highlands.

2018 Schedule
Youth Patrol meets on Sunday mornings January 7th through February 25th, a total of 8 sessions. There will be a 7:30AM class time and an 11:15AM class time offered again this year. The later class time is reserved primarily for kids who also participate in the race team and are unable to attend the 7:30AM class. Other students may be admitted to the later class on a case-by-case basis. Dates are set - curriculum may change.
